This is a premium product. It's coated with a baked on powder coated automotive grade black finish that will look great for years. It features a plastic sleeve within the tube that travels up and down the shaft. This insures effortless positioning of the arm - without scratching the finish.

A thumb screw locks the arm in place.

Nickel plated brass end caps give this piece a contemporary and progressive appearance.

This deck hanger easily holds 10# bird feeders or flower baskets.

The heavy duty screw plate measures 2" x 3" and is .179 thick (7 Gauge).

It's MIG welded to the 1/2" round cold finished steel rod made with 1018 grade steel for maximum rigidity.

The screws are #8 x 1-1/4" "wood screws" that have a corrosion resistant black finish to match the color of the product. Importantly, they are also hardened so that they will not easily "round out" during installation.
