Finch/Swallow Houses

Barn Swallows are usually found around farms especially by barns, buildings, and often looking for food over lakes and ponds. They are often seen gliding in a relaxing fashion over a lake or pond, skimming for insects near water is always a great place to find them. Probably one of the most enjoyable birds to watch in graceful flight as you are sitting by a lake. Breeding is rarely found away from humans whom they seem to have adopted as friends. Finches and Swallows will sometimes build their nest in an open platform type birdhouse.
