 Birds love to bath and drink. A common sight is to see birds gather in a puddle of water and flap their wings while they bath on a hot summer day. A good birdbath will have a gradual slope and rocks or gravel can be added to give birds a place to sit while they sip water. The rocks and gravel can provide footing for the birds as well as heat which makes bathing more enjoyable. A heated bird bath or a birdbath with a bird bath heater are also recommended during the cold months. These thermostatically controled bird baths will allow the birds a place to gather during the winter months as well as provide you with the enjoyment of watching the birds all year round.
